I am very excited that my book ‘ Nature-based mindfulness; A guide to holistic wellbeing has now been published.
Sometimes we all need a little prompt to be outside and experience nature by being fully present. When we train our brains to actively take notice of what we hear, see, smell, touch and taste we may begin to notice changes to our wellbeing. In the context of my book holsitic wellbeing is supported using nature-based mindfulness to enhance ecological, mental, physical and social wellbeing.
Small changes to how we view and experience nature may help support nature to thrive arround us as we become more aware of being part of nature and how our actions may affect all living things.
Often there may be times when being outside isn’t possible. Nature-based mindfuness can be engaged in a varity of ways. My book explores nutrition, colour and and nature-based art as additional ways to support holistic wellbeing.
Here are a few pages of what is contained in the book, with over 100 pages of information and beautiful images to support you and nature.
